Bio
Jessica Anuna is the Founder and CEO of Klasha, a global fintech company enabling seamless B2B money movement between Africa and Asia through its cross-border payments infrastructure, APIs, and local payment rails. As a solo founder, she launched Klasha to simplify global commerce for businesses by enabling them to collect payments, send money, and hold exotic and hard currencies seamlessly through a robust API stack and localized financial infrastructure.
Today, Klasha serves more than 2,000 enterprise merchants and is live in seven African countries, helping global businesses expand into high-growth markets through localized payment solutions. The company has raised over $7 million USD from leading investors including American Express Ventures, Greycroft, and Seedcamp, with operations headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, and San Francisco, USA.
Before founding Klasha, Jessica built her career across technology, luxury retail, and e-commerce, holding roles at Amazon, NET-A-PORTER, and Shopify. Raised in London, UK, she is now based in Lagos, Nigeria, where she leads Klasha’s growing team of 35 employees. She studied at University of Cambridge and is also fluent in Chinese.
Jessica has been featured in Forbes, BBC, and Women’s Wear Daily, and has delivered keynote speeches globally, including at the United Nations in Switzerland, the World Retail Congress, and the African Union Commission. In 2019, Forbes Africa recognized her in its 30 Under 30 list and named her one of Africa’s New Wealth Creators.
