Farouk Khailann is the Founder and CEO of Khailann & Partners (formerly Premium Africa Holdings), a multi-sector investment firm operating across Ghana, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, and Sierra Leone. His leadership has propelled economic diversification and infrastructure development across the continent.

With a portfolio of strategic roles in billionaire-led enterprises, government institutions, and global business networks, he has established himself as a key force in business diplomacy, trade facilitation, investment strategy, and economic development.
As General Partner of StartBank Africa Fund, backed by a member of the Royal Family Office of the UAE, The Private Office of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al-Qassimi, Farouk leads high-impact investment strategies across Africa. He is also the Managing Partner, Middle East & Africa for Akon Lighting Africa, collaborating with global superstar Akon to provide renewable energy solutions for underserved communities.

His leadership extends to the Board of Mulk International, where he guides the expansion of Mulk Medicare into Africa, supporting virtual hospital solutions and a $500 million Zim Cyber City project to drive digital transformation.

Farouk Khailann serves as a Senior Advisor at the Private Office of H.H Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al-Qassimi, fostering Middle East-Africa economic partnerships. Additionally, he plays a key role as an Executive Board Member of the Global Wealth Forum, co-chairing global engagements and partnerships while championing Africa’s economic potential on the world stage.
In his role as Executive Vice Chairman of the Turkey Africa Trade and Investment Council, he works to strengthen trade and investment ties between Turkey and Africa. As International Partner at the World Angel Business Investment Forum, he promotes early-stage investments and angel financing for African startups.

His commitment to education and sustainable development is reflected in his position as Deputy Board Chairman of the University of Embu, Kenya – Centre of Excellence and Vice Chairman of the African Institute of Small-Scale Mining.
